How long has it been since you have heard the voice of the Lord? When was the last time you knew that the Lord was speaking to you about a certain matter? Some may say that the Lord has never spoken to them. Others will not be sure. Well, if you belong to Him, He will speak to you. He will speak through the power of His Word or the preaching of His Word. He will speak with a still small voice or through the love of a dear mentor. He speaks through the awesomeness of His creation. God is speaking; the question is, “Are we listening?” The scripture repeatedly says, “He that has an ear to hear, let Him hear…” Since God is speaking, could it be that we are not hearing because of the hardness of our hearts? The next time you hear Him, listen with a tender heart.Daily Reading
