Title

How To Give To Him Who Asks You

Scripture
The leech has two daughters-Give and Give!
(Proverbs 30:15)
Devotional
There seem to be two categories of people: givers and takers. The givers always say, “Take.” The takers always say, “Give.” The lifestyle of a taker is always self-centered, while the lifestyle of the giver is focused on others. Takers say the right things for the wrong reasons, while givers say the right things without a reason. They simply mean what they say and say what they mean. Takers are leeches. They are life-suckers. They will weary you with their requests. They are masters of swaying through guilt. If you do not give them what they want, their failure is now your fault. Do not succumb to the leeches of life. Do not aid them in their greed. Takers are not bound by the truth in their answers nor their questions. The Bible does say, “Give to him who asks you….” Yet, we are to give to meet a need, not to aid in sin.
