Title

The Wisdom Of Creation

Scripture
There are four things which are little on the earth, but they are exceedingly wise: the ants… the rock badgers… the locusts… the spider.
(Proverbs 30:24-28)
Devotional
Skill and wisdom can be learned from the smallest of God’s creation. God imparts wisdom to whom He wishes. He does so for the sake of His greatest creation, man. Furthermore, we are to learn from those whom God has given a natural ability. Man, in his wisdom, can acquire greater wisdom by studying creation. Through observation and study we can learn many lessons from creatures great and small. The ant teaches us enterprise and preparedness. The badger enlightens us about building a secure home. The locusts teach the importance of order, while the spider instructs that hard work will place you before kings. The wise become wiser when they study the wisdom of creation. Look for examples of wisdom in nature. The scripture declares, “Does not nature itself teach you…” Therefore, if God proclaims that something is exceedingly wise, it would be wise to pay attention to it.

It would be very helpful if the daily devotion had a the scripture reference for the reading: IE Revelation 16:1-21.

I use my original Sonrise devotional and the calender days do not match with the date of the Daily Devotion.

Thank you and God bless. I love the Daily Devotions.
