What causes you to tremble? What are your phobias? The Bible says, “That the fear of man brings a snare.” If we fear anything but God, our fear will hinder our endeavors. How wonderful it would be to have the confidence of the psalmist, not to fear ten thousands of people. So often, we cower and hide from the rejection of one, and usually that one is filled with fear himself. If we need not fear ten thousands of people, then think of the confidence we can have when dealing with a few. We should then speak more boldly, go with greater certainty and act with higher dignity. If I have no fear of ten thousand, any one man is powerless against me. If I have no fear of ten thousand, I can easily win ten to my way of thinking. If I have no fear of ten thousand, it is because I have great fear of God.Daily Reading
