Title

Look at Wisdom’s Fruit

Scripture
But wisdom is justified by all her children.
(Luke 7:35)
Devotional
It is not very difficult to judge wisdom. All you have to do is look at its end result. We are often quick to judge the motives of others by our own perceptions. We basically judge by the motives of our own hearts. We assume that others are doing whatever they do with the same heart as you and me. This is natural, but also naturally wrong. We know that two people can be doing the very same thing and one justified and the other guilty. Therefore we do not know the motives behind a deed until we see the fruit of that deed. Like John the Baptist, Jesus was wrongly judged. Also like John the fruit of His labor justified him. If you see a brother or a sister undertaking an endeavor, and it is not being done the way that you would do it, do not judge it until you see the fruit it produces. The scripture is clear, “Wisdom is justified by all her children.”
