The Book

Scripture
The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach…
(Acts 1:1)
Devotional
The greatest historical document of all times is the book we call the Bible. Never has a book been more scrutinized. Its accuracy is unparalleled and unprecedented. The more it is studied and the more it is examined, the more it proves itself to be the unadulterated Word of God. Much if not all that we read today is untrustworthy. Newspapers seem to be fictitious or at best. The History of our nation is being rewritten and her biographies embellished. Nevertheless, the Word of the Lord stands firm. The more it is attacked and attempted to be disproved, the more firm of a foundation it proves to be. Never has a book had a greater influence on creation. Every law of civilized man is based on its truths. Governments have been founded on it, businesses established by it and lives changed by it. The Bible is the most powerful book ever written. Therefore it is more than worthy of your consideration, time and study. Only a fool would ignore it. And I pray that you are no fool.
