Devotional
When Jesus asked Peter if he would leave Him as others had left Him, Peter answered, “To whom shall we go, You have the words of eternal life.” Here in our text, the Lord tells Peter that he has “The words of this life.” This is the message of the gospel of Christ. God clearly instructs us how to life now, and how to live forever. We have this good news and we need to be sharing it. If there is anyone who should to know how to live in this life it ought to be those who call themselves Christians. We have the manufacture’s handbook, the Bible. We have the Creator’s Supervisor, the Holy Spirit. There is absolutely no reason that we should be living a mediocre life. Furthermore, there is no reason for those around us not to know how to live this life. How foolish of us to live below our means and how selfish of us not to share what we know.Daily Reading
