Title

Arise and Build

Scripture
“…The God of heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build…”
(Nehemiah 2:20)
Devotional
If you desire to learn about leadership, then read the books of Ezra and Nehemiah. These men were unashamedly obedient to their calling and vision. They relentlessly went about the business at hand. ?They worked and built. Against all odds they persevered. They were laughed at, scorned, threatened, and attacked, but they would not compromise their integrity or the integrity of God. They kept their vision alive by keeping their hope alive, and they never wavered in their efforts. Needless to say, they knew that their prosperity was not in the hands of the king or the people, but in the God of heaven Himself. ?What is it that you have a heart to accomplish? When you possess a singleness of design and unity of heart, no one can thwart your plans. Is the God of heaven with you? If He is, he will prosper you. Then he will say to you who are His servants: Arise and build.
