If we would only grasp this truth of truths, we could change the world. The problem is that we are fighting the wrong enemy. People are not the enemy; they are victims of the enemy. There are diabolical powers and rulers who have forged a conspiracy against mankind. Those who appear to be the enemies of godliness are being duped by a spiritual host of wickedness. There is nothing that the enemy would like more than for us to continue in the battle we have been warring: protesting this and fighting that. Let us stop attempting to win the battle over our apparent enemies and let us begin to win them over. Let us learn to lift them up instead of tearing them down. Instead of demanding, let us serve; instead of protesting, let us offer solutions. We have the answers to life’s dilemmas. Let us despise the sin, but love the sinner. Let us reach out to a lost and dying world with the good news of the gospel of Christ.Daily Reading
