Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.(Revelation 1:3)
Devotional
Do you want to be blessed by God? Read and listen to the Word of the Lord. The book of Revelation is a difficult book at best; nevertheless, God Himself says that if we read it we will be blessed. I don’t know about you, but if God is passing out blessings, I’m going to get in line for one. There is power in the Word of God. As a matter of fact, it is called the power of God. The apostle Paul says in the book of Romans, “I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…” There are basically two ways to receive this blessing: reading the Word and Hearing the Word preached and taught. Give your mind to Bible reading and study. Give your ear and heart to the teaching and preaching of it. Do this and you will receive the blessing.Daily Reading
