Hell and its legions are in a panic. The demons are working overtime. Satan’s diabolical schemes are in full force. It is the time of his end and he knows it. The important question, however, is do we realize that we are in a great battle? Do we understand his tactics and evil ways? If not, we must know them and resist them. Here is how: the apostle James instructs us to, “Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” And as the apostle Paul warned the Ephesians, “We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Mankind is not the enemy, Satan is. Therefore, let us resist him wholeheartedly.Daily Reading
