The list of which Moses wrote ends with sexual perversions. He says of them that they are an abomination to the Lord; that is, they disgust Him. Mankind's sexual drive is natural, but it is to be under controlled. We are to rule over it, it is not to rule over us. Sexual relations are to be valued, honored and revered. They are to be reserved for a monogamous, heterosexual relationship - a husband and a wife. Any form of sexual relations outside of the bonds of matrimony defiles and is abhorrent to God. No matter what society approves or what desires we have, God has set some clear parameters for our procreating ability. “Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.”[1] You are no exception. It matters not how strongly you may feel toward another; God has reserved this wonderful relationship for a husband and a wife.
