Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward.(Psalm 127:3)
Devotional
Why is it that parents have a natural love, no a supernatural love, for their children? The answer is clear; children are a gift from God. They are the fruit that comes from the womb. Nevertheless, how heartbreaking it is that many of these magnificent rewards from God never make it out of the womb. Because of selfishness, pride, greed and great ignorance, too many children never get to blossom and become the sweet fruit God intended them to be. How sad, how very sad that so many mothers and fathers to be have missed the multiple blessings of God's reward. How sad that they have exchanged a life for a pleasure, a child for a temporary connivance. The abortion argument reveals, "All that is in the world - the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.”[1] On which side of this argument do you fall? Think about it... really think about it. It is a matter of life and death.
