Title

Godly Commerce

Scripture
The people will curse him who withholds grain, but blessing will be on the head of him who sells it.
(Proverbs 11:26)
Devotional
Commerce is a godly attribute. It is the building block of free enterprise. It is what keeps the financial systems of the world going. Without commerce there is wide spread poverty. Selling goods and service at a fair market value is what keeps economies prospering. Those who withhold grain, oil or any commodity for the sake of inflating its value may receive a financial increase, but lose the blessings of true prosperity. Think about those who withhold their goods to inflate the value of those goods. They eventually do so to their ruin. And the people curse them. From the farmer to the industrialist, those who hoard for profit bring others to poverty and inevitably fall into poverty themselves. Those who freely sale their goods and do so at a fair market value prosper at their endeavors. They are blessed by both God and man. They are godly entrepreneurs who understand commerce.
