Title

The Justice and Way of God

Scripture
The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way.
(Psalm 25:9)
Devotional
God is equitable; He is not a respecter of persons. This does not mean that everyone is equal with regard to spiritual authority, favor, or calling. Nevertheless, His favor and calling are according to His abundant mercy. One man may be called to what appears to be a lofty position, while another man is appointed an apparent place of humility. In the eyes of man, the lofty received the greater gift and the humbled, an inferior one. Let us remember that which impresses man, seldom impresses God.
Those who receive the praises of man may not receive the praise of heaven. One thing will be evident in those whom God considers to be great; they continually walk in true humility. Think of the great men and women of our day: Billy Graham, Bill Bright, Mother Teresa, and so many others. They are the ones whom He guides in justice and they are the humble to whom He teaches “The Way”. Therefore, their lives have been influential in the nations, their testimonies flawless, and their legacies immeasurable.
