Jesus said, “I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.”(Mark 14:62)
Devotional
When Moses stood before God at the burning bush, he humbly asked God His name. God said to tell the people that His name is “I Am.” When the Pharisees questioned Jesus about His identity, He answered them the same; He said, “I Am.” Jesus Christ is more than a teacher, prophet, and great moral leader. He is the Son of God and God the Son. He is the great “I Am.” It is crucial for us, as believers, to understand who Christ is, and what He expects of us. He came to this earth as the Son of Man to redeem fallen man. He is now at the right hand of the Power, which is the place of all authority, and He is coming to this earth again, not as the Son of Man, nor as the Prince of Peace, but as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He is coming as He is, the Lord God Almighty. Are you ready?Daily Reading
