Devotional
I like the old saying, “Make hay while the sun shines.” And the Son has never shown brighter. God is smiling on His people. The world is as hungry for the truth of the gospel as it has ever been. The Bible is clear, “Where sin abounded, grace abounded more.”(1) Sin may be abounding more than ever, but God’s grace is shining brighter than ever. We are living in a time of affluence. There is an abundance of everything. We have more time, better health, and greater prosperity than any time in recorded history. It is the brightest of days historically. The question is, what are we going to do with the brightest of days? We have choices. We can relax and wait for a better day. We can just enjoy the sunshine or we can work the works of Him who is sending us. We will most likely never have a better time to grow, reach, and influence than now. Let us start to shine today.(1) Romans 5:20
