Devotional
How? How does the Lord give His wisdom, knowledge and understanding? The answer is, from His Word, the book we call the Bible. It is the foundation for all true belief, knowledge, wisdom and understanding. It is the source. Experiences are good, but they do not have precedence over the Bible. No matter how real the experience, if it is contrary to the written Word, that experience is counterfeit. The logic and reasoning of finite man is no competition for the eternal Word of God. All truth is to be measured by God's Word; the Word is not measured by the apparent truth of man. Philosophy and science change with the wind, but the Word of the Lord changes not. It is the rod by which these are to be measured. Therefore, to be Biblically ignorant, no matter how worldly wise, is to lack true wisdom, knowledge and understanding.Daily Reading
