The Word of God is a proven entity. There is and has been nothing like it. It is the record of the universe, the book of the ages. To ignore it is more than foolishness. And not to heed it is death. To attempt any type of success without the Bible as your guide is a road to eventual failure. All that we would ever endeavor to accomplish or all that we would ever hope to be is found in its pages. The main attribute that it deals with in our lives is character. It may not always give step-by-step directions to success, but it always gives clear explicit guidance about our needed character. We are not only to read the Bible; we must be about studying it as if our lives depended on it. There is not end to its knowledge, wisdom and understanding. It is timeless. It applied to shepherds, fishermen and tentmakers. It likewise applies to businessmen, professionals and craftsmen. It is the Manufacture's handbook.Daily Reading
