Devotional
God will establish His way with His people. There is a government in God’s kingdom. Yet, we often live our lives as if there were none. We have to realize that a people without government produces anarchy. 1 Corinthians 14:33 states it so very well, “God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.” Here is where the government of God is to be established, taught and maintained. There is no government of the kingdom of God outside His church. The primary purpose of the church is to enact the government of God. The church is not to ordain its own government according to the ways of the people, but according to the ways of God, which are found in His Word. There is no end to His government. Therefore, the question is, “Are you a part of that government or are you a renegade?”Daily Reading
