Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves.(2 Corinthians 13:5)
Devotional
No one, other than the Lord, should know us better than we know ourselves. Therefore we should constantly be evaluating ourselves physically, emotionally, financially, and above all, spiritually. Our testing must be truthful. We are to ask ourselves honest questions. The Bible says that we are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, how am I taking care of this temple? Am I eating, exercising, and resting correctly? Am I being stimulated intellectually? Am I reading good enlightening materials? Are my thoughts Christ- honoring and self-edifying? Am I a good steward of all that God has entrusted to me? Are my finances in order? Do I tithe and give offerings? Above all, is my walk with Christ all that I know it should be? Am I praying regularly? Am I reading my Bible daily? Am I attending and supporting my church faithfully? Am I in the faith?Daily Reading
