Scripture
Can the Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard its spots? Then may you also do good who are accustomed to do evil.(Jeremiah 13:23)
Devotional
With God all things are possible. Jeremiah was telling the people that they were in themselves unable to change. The answer to his question was an obvious no. Yet with Christ we can change. We can become all that He calls us to be. There is no sin that Christ cannot cleanse. There is no depth that He is not deeper still. You can change. You can have a miracle in your life. God can deliver you from alcoholism, drug addiction, laziness, or whatever your besetting sin may be. God is bigger than your sin. He is greater than your addiction. He can change your spots. Without Christ, you cannot change. You may change for a season, but your season will be short lived. With Him you can do all things. Here is what you need to do: Confess your sins to him. Follow His directions, which is the manifestation of repentance. God will deliver you.Daily Reading
