Let me encourage you to read carefully these five verses of scripture and see how closely the apostle Paul describes our day. Allow me to also challenge you to take an inventory of your own life to see whether any of these last days maladies apply to you. Herein is a good area to fulfill the scriptural abomination, “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves…” There has never been a generation closer to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ than this generation. There has never been a time when the signs of the times have indicated so. Therefore, we must evaluate ourselves and ask the Lord if any of these characteristics apply to us. If they do, we must then deal with them. They cannot be ignored. They are too deadly to overlook. If we deal with them, God will not have to deal with us.Daily Reading
