How does the Holy Spirit witness to us? How do I know His voice? Listen to verse 16, “…I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them.” Do you see the answer? You will know in your heart. Your conscience will reveal it, and the Word of God will confirm it. God desires to give you the desire of your heart, especially when that desire lines up with His. Secondly, God will not cause you to violate your conscience. The conscience is a wonderful discerner of good and evil. If you belong to Christ, you have the mind of Christ. The greatest test to know whether or not it is the Holy Spirit is by the Word of God. The witness of the Holy Spirit will never violate God’s Word--never! Therefore, have an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying to you. Listen with an ear toward obedience. His witness is sure.Daily Reading
