Title

Never Be Satisfied With Mediocrity

Scripture
Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
(Matthew 5:48)
Devotional
The Creator would never call His creation to an unattainable feat. Therefore, if God commands it, it can be accomplished. Here is how: “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. ” “Do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” God’s call to perfection is attainable through His Son Jesus Christ. The apostle Paul informed the Corinthians, “For He (God the Father) made Him (Jesus the Son) who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” Never settle for less than the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Never be satisfied with mediocrity. God gave His highest, that we might give our best. We do not have to lie, cheat, covet or commit any other sin. Perfection is within reach of the believer in Christ.
