Title

When Dreams And Goals Fail

Scripture
Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God…
(Isaiah 59:1-2)
Devotional
Our failures and disappointments are not God’s fault. He hears and is able to accomplish His will in our lives. There is only one thing that will keep God from answering the righteous request of His people, sin. If we think that we can live in our iniquities and receive the blessings of God at the same time, we are very much fooling ourselves. Listen to what the apostle Paul said to the Galatians, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. God is not fooled. We may fool friends and even family, but never can we fool our Creator. Therefore, if the things you are attempting are failing, maybe, just maybe, there is iniquity in your life that is prohibiting you from success. If it is known, repent of it and go on with your inclination. If there is unknown iniquity, ask God to reveal it to you. He will.
