Title

When God Reaches Out

Scripture
I have stretched out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, according to their own thoughts.
(Isaiah 65:2)
Devotional
Not just on Sunday, nor only in the mornings, but God reaches out to us every day and all day. Why does it so often seem that we miss His touch? Could it be that we are not where He is reaching? Could it be because we are walking in a way that is not good? Could we be missing the mind of God because our minds are not focused on Him? I do not want to be considered rebellious by God. I want to be where He is. I want to think how He thinks. Therefore, if the blessings of God are missing in my life, I must consider my actions and my thoughts. I must begin to think and act differently. This I can do by changing direction. Instead of constantly focusing on pleasing myself, I am to focus on pleasing God. Instead of only being interested in myself, I am to show a greater interest in others. When God stretches out His hand, I want to be there.
