The king answered Daniel, and said, “Truly your God is the God of gods, the Lord of kings, and revealer of secrets...(Daniel 2:47)
Devotional
Do you realize that king Nebuchadnezzar was talking about your God? Have you ever had the best of anything? Just think, you belong to not only the best God. You belong and are loved by the only true God. You are somebody. You know the creator of the universe personally. He calls you by name and you know His. Nebuchadnezzar was the greatest king on the earth during Daniel’s day. Nevertheless, Daniel belonged to the Lord God, and it was recognized by the king. Therefore Daniel was honored above all others in the kingdom. We have no business living our lives in mediocrity. We cannot be moping around feeling sorry for ourselves when we realize who we are in Christ. Our God is the God of gods, the Lord of kings, and the revealer of secrets. Never forget who your God is and never forget that because of who He is, you are somebody.Daily Reading
