We live in a day where marriage is no longer a sacred institution. Divorce is deemed an accepted solution to marital problems. There seems to be no sanctity in any realm of life. Unfortunately, I am speaking with regard to those who call themselves believers. I understand that we live in a very promiscuous society. However, this is not to be the case in the kingdom of God. We are to influence the world; the world is not to influence the kingdom. Marriage is to be a working relationship. Love is something that must be cultivated, nurtured and pursued. The greatest threat to marriage is familiarity. The old adage, “Familiarity breeds contempt,” is true. Therefore, keep dignity, manners and courtesy in your marriage. Do your best to keep yourself attractive. Be at your best for each other. There is to be nobody that you wish to impress with how you present yourself more than the one to whom you are married. Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of your life.Daily Reading
