Title

Parting Your Red Sea

Scripture
Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today.”
(Exodus 14:13)
Devotional
The children of Israel’s desert experience often reflect the believer’s life experience. There are obstacles in front of us and enemies behind us. The obstacles are those things that hinder the achieving of our life’s goals. They are those things that cause fear and seem to be impassible. Those enemies behind us are those things that haunt and pursue us. These are the things from our past: our mistakes, sins and reputations. They are also the dream-stealers of life, those who would keep you in bondage to a previous lifestyle. Therefore, when you find that you are against your Red Sea and Pharaoh's army is at your heels, do not fear. Call on the Lord your God. “Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today.” He will part your Red Sea. However, it is up to you to walk through on dry ground.
