Devotional
Children are totally dependent on adults. They look to them for all their needs to be met. There is a natural innocence in children. There is a trust that, when violated, is the greatest of violations. Children are vulnerable because they are so very dependent. The song is true, “Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world, red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in His sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world.” Therefore, we are to do our all to reach and teach them the truths of the gospel of Christ. We are to make sure that they honor and obey their parents and that they remain under the God- given authority of their parents. The children do not belong to the government or any other man made organization. They first and foremost belong to God. As stewards of them, let us do our best to receive them with the same love and compassion of Christ.Daily Reading
