Title

Training The Next Generation

Scripture
And he did what was right in the sight of the Lord… he did not turn aside to the right hand or the left.
(2 Kings 22:2)
Devotional
Josiah was Israel’s youngest king. He was only eight years old when he took the throne. He obviously had great tutors in his mother and the leaders of the nation. What made Josiah a good king was the finding of God’s Word in the temple. When he heard it he obeyed it with his whole heart. He cleansed the nation of its adulterous ways and brought the nation back to a covenant relationship with God. We likewise need to be about the business of raising up godly young leaders like King Josiah

1Chr 1:1-2:55, Pro 19:6-7
