Title

The Whole Counsel of God

Scripture
“For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.”
(Acts 20:27:)
Devotional
The counsel of God is not subject to our preference. We are to be subject to His preference.
?Often times we have a tendency to ignore scripture that we do not like. This is not a wise tendency. For example, we look at the love of God and ignore the judgement of God. We declare the glories of heaven without the warnings of hell.
?The whole counsel of God not only teaches us about heaven and hell, love and judgement, but it likewise teaches us about living and working. It teaches us about marriage and business, honesty and integrity.
?The whole counsel of God will direct us in every realm of life. Whether in the market place or at home next to the fireplace, God’s Word is applicable. There is no realm where it does not fit. There is no place that it is not necessary. Therefore, dare to declare the whole counsel of God in your life.
