Dealing with Paranoia

Scripture
“Then I sent to him saying, ‘No such things as you say are being done, but you invent them in your own heart.’”
(Nehemiah 6:8)
Devotional
Paranoia is an awful sin condition. It is the inventing of false circumstances in the mind. ?The root of paranoia is a lack of trust in the saving grace of Christ. We just do not trust Him. The result of this lack of trust is insecurity that in turn causes paranoia.?A lack of trust in Christ produces all kinds of wayward thoughts. We judge incorrectly, fear falsely, and worry wrongly. This in turn will drive some to work inordinately and others to hide behind a false set of dreams and desires. May I tell you something? People are not after you. Even if they were, it should not matter because God is for you. And if God is for you, who can be against you?
