It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking I will hear.(Isaiah 65:24)
Devotional
This is just part of the awesomeness of the God we serve. He knows what we need before we need it. He hears what we speak before we speak it. He knows our hearts better than we do and He cares more than we care. God knows our inclinations. Therefore, we are to desire to submit to His inclinations. The more we prefer the things of God the more He will prefer us. When we pray, let us pray knowing that God not only hears us, but that He hears us before we pray. The preamble to the Lord’s prayer says, “Your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore, pray:” Therefore let us pray without doubting. Let us pray believing. Let us pray exercising our faith to the fullest. Let us pray with thanksgiving for He has said, “Before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking I will hear.”Daily Reading
