Title

Let Us Win The Nation

Scripture
Has a nation changed its gods, which are not gods? But My people have changed their glory for what does not profit.
(Jeremiah 2:11)
Devotional
Sadly, in the beginning of this new millenium, our nation has changed its gods, which are not gods. In our tolerance of sin we no longer tolerate God. I am afraid that He is the one who will not tolerate us. The psalmist declared, “If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?” There is only one answer; rebuild the foundation. The second question is, “How?” I am convinced that there is only one way. We must win over our enemies. We have not succeeded in winning the war over them, so we must win them. Protesting, picketing and denouncing has not worked. These things have only strengthened and united the foes of Christ. Arguments are never won, only people are won. Let us be about the business of winning people to Christ. Let us be about the business of sharing the good news of the Gospel. If condemnation worked, then we would have remained under the letter of the law. It did not, and that is why we have the New Covenant.
