Devotional
The world is watching the church more closely than the church sometimes imagines. And the world expects the church to be different. When we fail to live up to the standards of godly righteousness and God’s judgment falls upon His people, even the world knows that it is the hand of God. I am convinced that the greatest of professing atheists fears God. There is an innate knowledge of the creator in every man and woman. Man has to purposefully attempt to convince himself that there is no God. Nevertheless, he cannot but help see the hand of God in both the blessings of His church as well as the judgment of it. Therefore, we have a choice; we can demonstrate the power of God by His chastisement or we can do so by His blessings. Let us chose the latter. May the world see God announce His favor not His doom.Daily Reading
