Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.We have not evolved from some primeval swamp nor did we emerge form a cosmic explosion. These are the myths of a pseudoscience. True science reveals that anything left to itself deteriorates; it does not evolve to a higher order. There is design in the universe, not chaos, and symmetry, not disharmony. From conception we have been fearfully and wonderfully made. We are more than a mass of tissue. We are more than a woman’s right to choose. There is sanctity to our lives. Verse 13 says, “For You formed my inward parts; You covered (wove) me in my mother’s womb.” If we remove creation or the scientific fact that life begins at conception, we devalue mankind to a realm of worthless matter. Yet we must say, “Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.” Therefore, let us also say, “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”Daily Reading
