Devotional
It matters not what we do superficially, what truly matters is who and what we are on the inside that matters to God, because who we are on the inside will eventually manifest itself on the outside. Just like a church building, it can look good with its stained glass and lofty spirals, but what matters are the people. We, likewise, can look good, smell good and sound good. However, let us be very careful not to live our lives for show. Let us not present a prosperous facade when, on the inside, dwells an impoverished soul. We can fool some of the people some of the time. We can even fool ourselves much of the time, but we cannot fool God at any time. Let us live our lives from the inside out, not the reverse. If we change who we are on the inside, the outside will follow.Daily Reading
