Diverse weights are an abomination to the Lord, and dishonest scales are not good.(Proverbs 20:23)

The universe is exact; its measurements are without error. The Creator is a God of perfection. And we are called to be perfect just as our Father in heaven is perfect.[8] There is no room for approximates with regard to honesty and integrity. When it comes to these characteristics, we are called to an exact science. Never say one thing and mean another. A partial truth is a whole lie. Never ask illegitimate questions. Let me explain. An illegitimate question is one that is asked not seeking an answer, but making an accusation. Here is how you can detect an illegitimate question: there is no completely correct answer. These are diverse weights and dishonest scales. Avoid asking them and refuse to answer them. Likewise, our answers must be just and true, equitable and clear. Therefore let us measure our words, actions and deeds with just weights and honest scales.Daily Reading
