Liars Are In Bad Company

Scripture
Getting treasures by a lying tongue Is the fleeting fantasy of those who seek death.
(Proverbs 21:6)
Devotional
The wages of all sin is always death.[1] There is no exception. Every time we sin something dies. It may be a dream or a goal. Sin kills relationships and separates the closest of friends. Therefore there is no room for lying. For all lying is sin. Consider the company of liars found in the book of Revelation, chapter twenty one, verse eight, "The cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."[2] Any prosperity attempted to be gained by those who practice such sinful ways. "Is the fleeting fantasy of those who seek death." Therefore never stretch the truth, exaggerate or embellish for person gain or for any reason. Acquire your treasures by a truthful tongue and live.
