Devotional
At this writing, I am in Kota, India. There are over one billion people in India, the most populated nation in the world. It is mainly a Hindu nation which boasts of having three million gods. There are temples of these gods everywhere. So-called sacred cows roam the streets freely. Temple elephants can be seen parading with their faces colorfully painted. Yet there is only one God that all the people fear, His name is Jesus. No one is threatened by those who worship rats or grotesque elephant images. But at the name of Jesus, countenances change. Many respond positively to the gospel. However, often the presenters of the gospel are persecuted and martyred. It is more than evident that the Lord our God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords. He shows no partiality. He loves the Indian as well as the American. He loves your neighbor and He loves you.Daily Reading
