Title

How Servant Communicate

Scripture
A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient.
(2 Timothy 2:24)
Devotional
Its been said, and most rightfully so, that, "Those who know the least know it the loudest." There is a great difference in speaking loudly to be heard and loud speaking. One is to be heard the other is to intimidate. Confidence is seldom loud. It seldom argues. It is quick to listen, weigh and measure. When one truly knows what he or she believes they know it with gentleness and patients. They are neither coercive nor contentious. They share their knowledge without being factious or divisive. This they do because they are servants. Whenever the first words out of someone's mouth are indictments or simply haughty, realize that you are most likely not dealing with a servant of the Lord, but a servant of one's own arrogance or at best ignorance. If you find yourself communicating in this manner, repent. If you find yourself as a recipient of this manner, flee. Which ever, find someone who is a servant of the Lord, gentle, patient and able to teach.
