Title

You May Just Be Old Enough

Scripture
Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three years old when they spoke to Pharaoh.
(Exodus 7:7)
Devotional
It is obvious that with God you are never too old to start a new endeavor. Let us never forget that every portion of scripture has a divine purpose. There is no filler in the Word of the Lord. Here we find two old men beginning the greatest venture of their lives. It was to last for an additional forty plus years. When you belong to Christ, the best days of life are always ahead of you. We are never too old to change. We are never too old to start afresh and pursue our God given dreams. It is never too late to invest in God’s plan for your life. Everything we have learned and experienced is merely preparation for the future. Therefore, forget those things that are behind and reach forward to those things which are ahead. Heed the aging apostle Paul’s admonition, “I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”(1)
