If you are teachable, there is hope for you in every realm. Teachable people are growing people. They grow healthier, happier, and wiser. As they know, they grow. “Unteachable” people on the other hand are often characterized by poor physical and mental health, bouts of depression, and ignorance as to why they feel the way that they do. Becoming teachable for many is a hard road. It takes humility, in that one has to confess that he just does not know it all. Learning to listen, diligently listen, is the doorway to becoming teachable. Not only must you diligently listen, you must learn to listen with an open ear toward obedience. Your first inclination should be to obey. Learn to ask question instead of always having an answer. Stop telling people what you are doing and start asking for direction. Listen to instruction or you will stray away from knowledge.Daily Reading
