Title

Why Should You Die?

Scripture
“As I live” says the Lord. “I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die?”
(Ezekiel 33:11)
Devotional
Sin’s wages is always death. Every time we sin, something or someone has to die. For example, if there is sin in a marriage, something in that marriage dies. If there is sin in business, something in that business dies. Because there is sin in our lives, someone has to die for that sin, either ourselves or Christ. Without Christ, we will die in our sin. With Him we have everlasting life. Listen to Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” We deserve to die, but Christ has paid the price for our sin. All we have to do is believe and receive. The Bible clearly says, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved” Therefore, turn from the wicked way and live, “For why should you die?”
