Title

Mark the Foolish

Scripture
If a man contends with a foolish man, whether the fool rages or laughs, there is no peace.
(Proverbs 29:9)
Devotional
Have you ever run into people who cannot be reasoned with? They either are silly or angry in their responses. No matter how hard you attempt to communicate logically with them, you end the discussion bewildered. The reason being is that there is no truth in a foolish man. His questions as well as his answers are lies. You cannot answer a lying question. Nor can you ever trust a liar. If you walk away from a situation without peace, you can more than be sure than someone in that conversation is a fool. Just make sure that it is not you. If you find yourself consistently raging or laughing at life’s encounters, you may be a fool. If so, turn from your foolishness. If you confront a fool, quickly turn from him. Remember, there is no peace with a foolish man. He will either rage or laugh. Avoid him.
