When Life's Clouds Come

And a cloud came and overshadowed them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!"(Mark 9:7)
Devotional
Have the clouds of life ever overshadowed you? If not, they eventually will. When they do, stop and listen, for the Lord may be speaking to you from life's clouds. I have found that the seemingly darkest times of my life were the times that God chose to speak to me the clearest. How do we know when God is speaking to us? How do we know His voice? He will always say, "This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!" God's voice will never deny His Son. Nor will the voice of God ever contradict the Word of God. The next time trouble or heartbreak comes your way, stop and listen for the voice of the Lord. He will speak to you. You will hear Him from the cloud about you. When you hear His voice, by faith, obey Him and watch the clouds of life turn to bright shining skies.Daily Reading
