Scripture
Do not forsake her (Wisdom), and she will preserve you; love her, and she will keep you.(Proverbs 4:6)
Devotional
The only way to love and hold on to wisdom is to love and hold on to God. Wisdom is the essence of God. It is the only way in which He can function. Wisdom cannot be separated from God. However, if we turn our backs on God we with out fail turn our backs on wisdom. It is for this reason that "The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways."[6] Anytime we remove this wisdom from the equation of our lives we will inevitably fail to arrive at the right answer for life. The birth of wisdom is to fear God.[7] To fear God is to love Him with all your heart, mind and soul.Daily Reading
