Devotional
Heaven is a real place. It is the domain of God and the eternal home of all believers. Jesus said of heaven, "In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."[1] Therefore no matter what life may bring or what the day has dealt us, we have the hope of heaven. No matter what we may accomplish on earth or what our dreams may be, heaven surpasses them all. Streets of gold and mansions grander than our wildest imaginations. Peace joy and happiness will abound. There will be no more sorrow, tears or pain. Guilt, shame and heartache will be erased from our minds. Perfection, harmony and the greatest of peace will be the dress of the day. There will be total understanding and knowledge will be complete. We will see Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Hold on to this blessed hope and life will never be the same again.[1] John 14:2-3
